The 2022 ADRIQ Innovation Awards Gala, the most prestigious event celebrating innovation in Quebec

Created in 2015 at the initiative of BIOQuébec, the Prix innovation en sciences de la vie is presented in partnership with Innovative Medicines Canada and is awarded to a company, group, organization and/or individual who has made a significant contribution to the development of biotechnology, life sciences and health technologies in Quebec.

Each year, this is a unique opportunity for us to participate in the most prestigious event highlighting innovation and to help recognize key players from the life sciences ecosystem. We highlight the innovation community by putting forward your ingenuity and creativity.

Paperplane Therapeutics designs therapeutic virtual reality video games aimed at improving pain and anxiety management in children undergoing various medical treatments or procedures. Congratulations to Jean-Simon Fortin and his team.

 

We want to make a special mention to our member BioTwin who won the ''Prix Coup de Cœur'' in the category Innovation, Artificial Intelligence.

 
 

BioTwin harnesses AI, biomarkers and biometrics to create a virtual human copy. These digital twins allow early detection & prediction of diseases and innumerable simulations. Congratulations to Louis-Philippe Noël, Manon Fradin and their team.

 

We wanted to highlight the fabulous success of the NMX Research and Solutions team and the group of Steven LaPlante (INRS-Institut Armand-Frappier) for their Innovation Prize awarded by the CQDM in the Industrial Research Sector Groupings category.

 
 

NMX Research and Solutions strives to be a global leader in discovering drug leads for challenging disease targets. They apply their deep biophysics expertise and innovations to help launch and accelerate drug discovery programs. They were rewarded for their work on the Fragment Based Lead Discovery plateform.
