Applications Now Open for Cohort VI of the adMare Academy Executive Institute Program

Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver (July 4, 2023) – The adMare Academy invites executives working in life sciences companies across Canada to apply to be part of Cohort VI of the Executive Institute.

With a renowned curriculum, expert facilitation, and certified executive coaches, this program has been widely recognized for its contribution to developing leadership capacity in the Canadian life sciences sector. Over five previous cohorts, the program has helped develop 89 leaders, impacting 95 different life sciences organizations across Canada.

The strength of the Executive Institute relies upon the combined efforts of many current and past partners and collaborators. This includes Pfizer Canada, whose generous support enabled the launch of this program and supported its delivery through to this year. Bloom Burton and BIOTECanada welcome participants to their events, fostering connections and learning. The deep commitment of alumni and their organizations to support the next generation creates incredible opportunities for knowledge sharing and is paramount to facilitating the maturation of Canada’s life sciences ecosystem.

The adMare Academy seeks to better support inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility in the Canadian life sciences sector, creating opportunities for equity-deserving groups and is committed to addressing issues of gender disparity in leadership positions (55% of previous Executive Institute participants self-identified as women).

Cohort VI will run from October 2023 to May 2024, with 3 multi-day in-person workshops held alternately in different cities across Canada (Edmonton, Montreal, and Toronto), each with an executive dinner, as well virtual intersessions, executive coaching, online learning modules, and concludes with an in-person capstone presentation and graduation dinner in Vancouver. Session 3 will be held alongside the Bloom Burton Healthcare Investor Conference, creating opportunities for the participants to build their networks and become better acquainted with the life sciences ecosystem in Canada.

“There are numerous accounts from alumni noting how years later they continue to draw on their skills and networks built through their participation in this program as they work today to grow their companies and the life sciences ecosystem in Canada.,” said Kristy Lonergan, Senior Director of the adMare Academy. “More immediately, at the end of the program, participants recount an array of benefits, including improved self-awareness, confidence, and positive organizational outcomes linked to their utilization of skills developed in the program.”

If you are an executive working in the life sciences at a company in Canada and you are interested in developing your leadership skills alongside other leaders in the industry, adMare invites you to apply for Cohort VI of the Executive Institute before August 15, 2023.
